IR102: Island Retreat 102

We are very comfortable in Island Retreat 102. We like that it is on the first floor and close to the walkway to the beach. We will definitely stay again on our next visit.

We were very happy with the rooms. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. The staff were friendly and very helpful. A great place to stay.

Great Place to stay. Easy access to beach, very clean, and very accommodating. Very easy to communicate with agency. Zero complaints.

When we leave we do everything but change the linens, towels and make up the beds. We sweep the floors but don't mop. Annoyed at the cleaning fee tacked on but understand some guests are not so considerate.

This was the perfect place to stay for us. The location was short walk to the beach. The property was great with two pools near our condo. The condo was very clean and nice inside. I highly recommend this place and plan to stay here again next time we are in Port Aransas.

The room was really nice! The night we got there we really didn’t pay much attention to the kitchen because we went straight to the beach then the pool. When we went to make breakfast in the morning we noticed that the granite counter in the kitchen under the sink was cracked in two please. I took pictures and went straight to the office. They told me they were aware of the issue it was done previously and not to worry. Which is great, but if something was like that I wish that I would have been told before hand that it was already reported

Love the place ! Everything was beautiful and clean as well as stocked with all the basic needs.I just would like to add a suggestion about the living room area.I think the owners should invest in a more comfortable sitting furniture.My daughter slept in a room with her baby, I took the other bed and my teen grandson had to put together the lounge chairs to "make" a bed. It was uncomfortable to say the least. Beautiful sitting but I wish it had a more comfortable sofa. Something to consider.Other than that we love the placer, the location, just short distance from the beach. The pool area, small playground, laundry facilities, etc., all excellent.Will gladly go back. Thank you

Condo is spacious. Family of 4 stayed for 5 nights. The condo has been redone. It is comfortable and very well maintained. Master bath shower was bery nice. KItchen is galley style and very small (cant open oven when fridge open) but kitchen was well equipped with all you need. The patio is large enough to sit outside but you wont because ground floor view shows you only the dunes. Mosquitos at night will eat you alive. The only change is to oil the master bathroom door hinges... very creaky/squeaky. Property is good. Boardwalks are perfect. 2 doors down is Beach Lodge Bar. Pool was clean, new umbrellas at pool.
